The Vernal Equinox is tonight at 7:07pm. That is when daylight and nighttime are equal.
From tonight forward, the days will continue to get longer, up until our Summer Solstice, which is at the end of June.

The meteorological spring has already started: March 1. We categorize the seasons by months; Winter-December, January, February. Spring-March, April, May. Summer- June, July, August. Fall-September, October, November.

So, celebrate the "official" start to spring by getting outdoors and enjoying the nice weather in store through the weekend.
