With a nice start on this Monday and plenty of mild temperatures, with this milder weather will come the development of showers and storms. Expect an increase in clouds by this afternoon as the atmosphere changes from a stable airmass to an unstable airmass overnight and into tomorrow. A low pressure system is already developing in Texas and Oklahoma this moring, and will strengthen while tapping into gulf moisture. A line of storms is expected to develop in eastern Texas, then move into western Louisiana late this evening, into our area starting early Tuesday morning. Some storms will be strong or severe, with potentially strong winds, hail and even an isolated tornado. After the storms Tuesday morning comes the cold air Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Temperatures will range from the 70's Tuesday afternoon dropping into the 40's Tuesday night. The rest of the week looks chilly but dry.
