Based on your crystal ball, when will we have our last freeze of the year?

There is no way to tell when it will happen. I usually advise people who want to plant that it is best to wait until after Easter to avoid any late freezes. Historically, the latest freeze on record at Audubon was March 27 in 1955. The latest freeze at the airport in Kenner was April 8 in 1971. Easter this year is April 8th.
