High pushing rain to our South

We still have clouds out there, keeping temperatures in the 40s and edging into the 50s today... but rain is off the coast. That southern stream of moisture, courtesy of El Nino is streaming clouds and rain into the Gulf today. Florida is getting some rain today. A surface high pressure is building in, keeping the atmosphere stable across the SE. That means we have a 5 day pattern of dry weather.

Saturday will have clouds & sunshine, but still chilly. Highs in the lower 50's.

Lots of Sunshine for Superbowl Sunday here in SE Louisiana. Upper 20's Sunday morning north of the lake and mid 30's south. Highs around 60.

For the big game in Miami. Temperatures in the 70s, but a 40% chance of rain. Kickoff right here on Channel 4 at 5:25pm!
