Despite a break today (and a little sunshine too!) the rain will swing back in tonight, and most of Thursday. Another low pressure system will develop and ride along the Southern Branch of the jet stream (thanks El Nino) and bring us rain tonight and tomorrow. Look for scattered showers tonight, then rain and some thunderstorms likely all day tomorrow. Tomorrow, a few storms could turn strong or severe. A warm front will move through tomorrow, bringing along warm, moist and unstable air. The best chance for these storms will be south of the lake, mainly along the coast and just offshore. Temps for Thursday will be warmer: upper 60s. |
