If you check out Pinpoint Radar or My Radar on wwltv.com this afternoon, you'll see more rain developing over SW LA and Texas. It is all headed this way, after a lull in the activity this afternoon. If you are going out this evening, take the umbrella with you, as rain will push in tonight, and will be around through tomorrow too. The morning commute to work will be a bit soggy. There is light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak. Sunshine will be back in Louisiana (Finally!) by the end of the week. A quick look at next week shows some chilly weather moving back in too. Comment Received: Well, the models have been in better agreement starting today. Both the 00Z GFS and 12Z GFS (forecast models that we review before making the forecast) show cold air intrusion across the NE US next week. It looks like it will modify before it gets here, so we won't see record breaking temps, but it will definitely be chilly. |
