Patchy dense fog is developing, expect visibilities to be reduced overnight and into tomorrow morning. A southerly flow has developed... warm, moist air is filtering into the region. Temperatures will remain in the 60s overnight. Along with fog, isolated thunderstorms are possible overnight. A cold front is expected to move through the area tomorrow... that mixed with an upper level trough will create a 60% chance of showers overnight Saturday night into Sunday afternoon. Most of the showers are forecast to end Sunday night... so expect clearing, breezy and cool conditions by Monday. The Krewe of Claude rolls in Slidell Sunday at 1pm, expect a 40-50% chance of showers for the parade, and temperatures in the 70s. |
