Models are in more agreement today on the timing of this next front. It is still on its way, and will be here over the weekend. Rain will develop late Friday night, into the overnight hours, with the chance for some of the thunderstorms to turn severe with damaging winds and heavy rain. The storms will continue into Saturday morning, and for most of the day on Saturday. Everyone, North and South of the lake, will see storms. They should clear out late Saturday night, with cooler and drier air in place for New Year's Eve. New Year's Day will be nice as well, with highs in the mid 60s and sunshine. |
