A line of thunderstorms stretching from north of Baton Rouge down through Terrebonne Parish will provide some heavy rainfall in the next two hours. We expect this line to dump anywhere from 1/2" to 1" of rainfall within that time frame. Heavy rain is possible today with isolated thunderstorms. Most of the area should expect measurable precipitation. Otherwise it will be cloudy, windy and cold. It looks like conditions will improve for Christmas Day, with just a 20% chance of showers Christmas morning. Otherwise... it will be cloudy, windy and cold the rest of Christmas Day before we see some clearing Monday night. You can wear the new sweater you received on Christmas! |
