A surface low that developed over the Gulf of Mexico and ejected clouds and light rain into our area this Christmas Eve will move over SE Louisiana tonight. In front of the low, temperatures have been rising this evening, in advance of a warm front. Christmas Day, the weather changes rapidly, with cold and windy conditions expected. Temperatures will be in the 50's but it will feel cooler due to brisk, northerly winds. Periods of light rain are also expected Christmas Day. |
