***FLOOD WATCH THROUGH THIS EVENING. WITH NEARLY SATURATED SOILS AND UP TO FOUR INCHES OF RAIN POSSIBLE SUNDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SLIDELL HAS ISSUED A FLOOD WATCH FOR THE FOLLOWING PARISHES AND COUNTIES THROUGH THIS EVENING: LIVINGSTON, TANGIPAHOA, ST. TAMMANY, ASSUMPTION, ASCENSION, ST. JAMES, ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST, ST. CHARLES, TERREBONE, LAFOURCHE, JEFFERSON, ORLEANS, ST. BERNARD, PLAQUEMINES... HARRISON AND HANCOCK COUNTIES***

Light to moderate rainfall will continue across SE Louisiana through Sunday evening. Isolated thunderstorms with heavy downpours may develop. There is an 50% chance for rain overnight Sunday night... with a 20% chance for showers Monday morning.

Expect cloudy, windy and cool conditions Christmas Day.
