A front will come through Thursday morning with a 10% chance for a shower. Cold air will come back into the area in the afternoon and the winds will increase again. Morning lows will bottom out around 40 north of the lake and around 47 south of the lake, but may level off in the low 50's by morning. Highs on Thursday afternoon will remain in the 50's, but with the winds it may feel like 40's.

A hard freeze north of the lake and west of the Lake Friday morning with the winds, it will feel like teens and 20's. Actual lows will be in the mid 20's north and west of the lake and low to mid 30's south of the lake. Highs on Friday will remain in the 40's.

Take full precautions when a hard freeze is expected. When the temperature is at or below 28 degrees for 4 hours or more, then pipes need to be wrapped or protected.
