A Cold Night Ahead

2:50 PM Tue, Dec 26, 2006 |

High pressure will settle winds and clear skies tonight across SE Louisiana. With the radiational cooling (heat released back into the atmosphere on clear nights) we should see lows dip to around 30 north of the lake, and 35 south. We will likely see a light freeze north of the lake, and some patchy frost possible away from the city south of the lake. Tonight is a night to protect any tender vegetation and make sure your pets have a warm place to go.
