Weather Questions

This morning I answered a question about the difference between Dewpoint and Relative Humidity. Dewpoint is a measure of the moisture in the air, with the higher the dewpoint temperature the more moisture in the air. Typically, the summertime is when those dewpoints are the highest.

Relative humidity is dependent on temperature and dewpoint. The relative humidity can be high or low during any season. For example, we can have values in the 20-30% range for summertime even though dewpoints are in the 70's.

If you have any weather questions, look to the front page of our website and click on "Jeremy's Pinpoint Answers" , then send your question in. We will be giving away Channel 4 apparel to the selected question every week, so leave some contact info.
