A Tornado Watch has been issued for parishes in SE LA until 7pm tonight. A warm front is moving north across the area, and will provide the right ingredients for rotating storms. Some of these storms will have strong gusty winds, hail, and the potential to create tornadoes. This watch does not include the metro New Orleans area.

The parishes under the watch include:
Ascension
Livingston
St. Helena
Tangipahoa
Terrebonne
Lafourche
St. Charles
St. John the Baptist
