Light rain has begun falling north of Lake Ponchartrain. Livingston,Tangipahoa, Washington and St. Tammany parishes are seeing the most right now. Look for rainfall totals up to 0.50" through the afternoon, with the heaviest rain staying north in Southern Mississippi. Rain will spread southward tonight, with metro New Orleans seeing some rain too. The on/off rain should stay through the night, with a line of strong/severe storms moving through tomorrow morning. Once the line of storms and the front moves through, expect some light to moderate rain behind it, then mainly cloudy skies Friday night. The sun returns on Saturday. |
