Right now... at about 1pm on Sunday... light to moderate rain has already started moving in off the coast into Terrebonne, Lafourche, Lower Jefferson and Lower Plaquemines parishes. Most of the rain today will be light. This evening, expect locally heavy rainfall and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms developing, mainly along coastal areas. Precipitation totals in the next 24 hours could range from 1/2" to 2.0". Windy conditions will continue through Tuesday. Track the storms with MyRadar and our live Pinpoint Doppler. |
