The skies have calmed down this afternoon, and as of 3:30pm, the rain had exited most of SE LA except for extreme southern Plaquemines parish. Light rain/drizzle will remain through the early evening, and then the clouds will start to dissipate. North of the lake, the sun was beginning to peak through this afternoon. For football games tonight, pack a light windbreaker, because winds will begin to pick up behind the front. Rain will not be an issue, but the ground will still be wet. Tomorrow looks much better, with high pressure, sunshine, and highs in the upper 60s. |
