Light to moderate rainfall continues to move through parts of the metro area and coastal parishes. There is another round of showers and thunderstorms moving through St. Helena, Livingston, Tangipahoa and parts of St. Tammany parishes... although most of the heavy rain is to the north and west.

Cold front is still expected to move through overnight, producing a chance for showers and thunderstorms through the morning hours, especially north of the lake.

Sunday... temperatures will fall in the afternoon associated with cool northerly winds.
