Storms before the Dry Air Comes In

5:23 PM Tue, Sep 12, 2006 |

A severe thunderstorm warning for Washington parish and Pearl River County until 6pm. Small hail could be with this thunderstorm. Scattered showers or thunderstorms will be around this evening and spotty overnight before the front comes through. A lingering 20% chance for Wednesday, but dry air will be filtering in. A nice Thursday & Friday with sunshine, dry air, and warm temperatures will last for a couple of days.

TD #8 may become Tropical Storm Helene by tomorrow and may by pass the Caribbean sea like Florence and Gordon did. Too early to tell if the U.S. will be threatened.
