Ernesto remains a tropical storm this morning, with winds near 50mph, moving NW at around 16mph. This storm will cross Cuba, possibly further weakening it depending on how long it remains over land, then emerge in the Florida Straits where water temperatures are in the mid to upper 80's. Ernesto will then continue his northerly track into south Florida, either the Gulf coast or Atlantic side by Wednesday. |
