Although there is plenty of tropical moisture in the gulf, most of it will stay to our west, effecting mainly SW Louisiana as well as coastal Texas. High pressure to our east will begin to effect more of the area, with more heat and less rain expected through the next couple of days. The tropical disturbance continues to produce plent of rainfall through parts of the Gulf coast. Further development will be limited with the system over inland areas of Texas. Tropical rains will continue today, especially in Texas and SW Louisiana, with lesser amounts of rain the rest of the week. |
