Strong thunderstorms continuing to affect portions of northern Tangipahoa and Washintgon Parishes. A line of thunderstorms from Hattiesburg in South Mississippi to Baton Rouge is producing locally heavy rainfall, lightning, hail and strong winds.

These thunderstorms will continue to move NorthWest at about 15 mph.

The National Weather Service reports possible thunderstorm wind damage 7 miles east of Folsom in St. Tammany Parish. Law enforcement reported trees down on highway 40 at 3:45 pm.
