(AMITE)---The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in connection with the theft of farm equipment in the Amite area. The theft occurred on Sunday, March 8, in the 61000 block of Halbert Road in Amite. Deputies responded to a call where the victim alleged that several pieces of farm equipment had apparently been stolen. Included in the stolen equipment were a bush hog, spreader, box blade, spreader blade, disc, double-bottom plow, and a set of row formers. Tangipahoa Sheriff Daniel Edwards requests that if anyone knows anything about the stolen equipment or the suspect, he or she should call TPSO Det.
