(MANDEVILLE)---The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office now says that a missing Mandeville woman has been found alive and well in the Hammond area. St. Tammany Sheriff Jack Strain reports that 18-year-old Katherine "Katie" Ralston, last seen on Sunday, March 8, was found staying with a friend in Tangipahoa Parish. The sheriff earlier said that Ralston was under 24-hour home care at the time of her disappearance. He noted at the time that Ralston occasionally traveled from St. Tammany Parish to the Hammond area. And that, says the sheriff, is where she was found shortly after news reports broadcast and telecast the family's concerns about her safety. |
