(NEW ORLEANS)---The Kentwood Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing Kentwood teenage girl.

Kentwood Police Chief James Rimes reports that 16-year-old Yulegoria "Black" Gordon was last seen on or about Saturday, March 21, on Canal Street in New Orleans after leaving her grandmother's house on Tuesday, March 17.

Chief Rimes says that the 2000 Chevrolet Impala that Gordon was in was later recovered in a parking garage near the Jackson Brewery on Friday, March 20.

Gordon is described as a black female, 5'5" tall, 150 pounds, with shoulder length hair that may be in pony tails, a medium to stocky build, and very dark skin.

Chief Rimes says if anyone has any information about Gordon, he or she should call the Kentwood Police at 985.229.6305.
