(LACOMBE)---The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a case where a body was apparently found along the I-12 in St. Tammany Parish.

The body was found in the morning hours of Wednesday, March 11, near the Lacombe/St. Tammany exit.

Eyewitness News Northshore Bureau Chief Doug Mouton is on the way to the scene and we will have more on this story as it develops.
