21st Judicial District Attorney Scott Perrilloux releases more court reports

AMITE............................ District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that the
following individuals appeared in court on March 30, 2009, before Judge Doug Hughes, and either pleaded guilty or no contest or were found guilty of driving while intoxicated and received the following sentences:

Christopher Chandler, Tangipahoa, LA, age 28 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim's impact panel, and pay a fine of $500.00 plus court costs.

Clinton Clay, Terrytown, LA, age 47 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence as suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim's impact panel, and pay a fine of $500.00 plus court cost.

Jerry Collier, Hammond, LA, age 48 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence as suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim's impact panel, and pay a fine of $500.00 plus court cost.

Stanley Hebert, Hammond, LA, age 33 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence as suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim's impact panel, and pay a fine of $500.00 plus court cost.

Patrick Heyer, Hammond, LA, age 20 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Theresa Johnson, Independence, LA, age 38 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jerry Kile, Jr., Greensburg, LA, age 36 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Kevin Lane, Hammond, LA, age 33 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (2nd offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Gregory Porche, Springfield, LA, age 22 -Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Jail sentence as suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim's impact panel, and pay a fine of $500.00 plus court cost.

Joshua Robertson, Tickfaw, LA, age 51 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Shannon Rogers, Independence, LA, age 38 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Bernice Smith, Duson, LA, age 41 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail. Winston Stewart, Roseland, LA, age 34 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense - 2 counts) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail on each count with sentences to be served concurrently. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim's impact panel, and pay a fine of $500.00 plus court costs on each count.

J. Marcus Watson, Hammond, LA, age 18 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (underage) and was sentenced to pay a fine of $250.00 plus court costs and complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program.

Gregory Williams, Amite, LA, age 57 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense - 2 counts) and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail on each count with sentences to be served concurrently. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on bench probation for two years with special conditions that the defendant complete 32 hours of community service work, complete a court-approved drivers improvement program and substance abuse program, attend a victim's impact panel, and pay a fine of $500.00 plus court costs on each count.
