LIVINGSTON ......................... District Attorney Scott M. Perrilloux reports that John Comeaux, Denham Springs, LA, age 50 - Pleaded no contest to DWI (1st offense) and possession of Schedule II narcotics and was sentenced to serve six (6) months in parish jail on the offense of DWI and eighteen (18) months in parish jail on the offense of possession of Schedule II narcotics. The following individuals appeared and either pleaded guilty or no contest or Tyrone Beauchamp, Denham Springs, LA, age 46 - Pleaded no contest to possession of Schedule II narcotics and was sentenced to serve ten (10) years in the Department of Corrections at hard labor. The following individuals appeared and either pleaded guilty or no contest or Milton Sholmire, St. Amant, LA, age 64 - Pleaded no contest to indecent behavior with a juvenile and was sentenced to serve seven (7) years in the Department of Corrections. Jail sentence was suspended and the defendant was placed on active probation for five years and ordered to pay a fine of $2,500.00 plus court costs and register as a sex offender. |
