(TICKFAW)---The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a Tangipahoa Parish man who was last seen in the Hammond area.

Tangipahoa Sheriff Daniel Edwards reports that detectives are searching for 45-year-old James Willis Cansler III. There was no reason given for detectives searching for Cansler III.

The sheriff says that Cansler III was last seen in the Hammond area on January 1, 2006.

Obama stimulus plan targets $2.1 million for homeless programs on Northshore

(NORTHSHORE)---The nation's economic recovery package, recently signed into law by President Obama, will send some $2.1 million in financial help to some 17 programs designed to help those who are homeless in the Northshore area.
