(FRANKLINTON)---A national foundation is joining with the Franklinton Police Department in an effort to find the killer(s) involved in two separate violent incidents earlier this year that left four victims dead, according to the Franklinton Police Department. Officials say that the Carole/Sund/Carrington Foundation is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the murder of 46-year-old Anita Smith and 32-year-old William Lewis. The same group is offering a $5,000 reward in the murder of 13-year-old Delijawon Magee. Police officials say that on Wednesday,February 6, Smith and Lewis were found murdered in the 1400 block of 14th Avenue. Slightly more than a month later, Franklinton Police found Magee and 23-year-old Ricardo Fox shot to death in the 2300 block of Williams Street. Franklinton Police say that if anyone knows anything about the murders or the suspects, he or she should call Det. Lt. Justin Brown at 985.839.2977. |
