(SLIDELL)---A narcotics investigation ended recently when deputies from the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and officers with Slidell Police joined agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration to arrest four suspects on various drug charges and recover some $14,000 in counterfeit hundred dollar bills, according to the St. Tammany Sheriff's Office.

St. Tammany Sheriff's Capt. George Bonnett reports that 23-year-old Shann Marshall, 22-year-old Brandon Quezergue, and 27-year-old Brice Cherry, all of Slidell, were charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin, possession of Xanax, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, monetary instrument abuse-counterfeit currency, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile. Marshall was also charged with possession of Hydrocodone. Quezergue was also charged with possession of Hydrocodone and Soma. The fourth suspect, 22-year-old Kinda Brown, also of Slidell, was charged with possession of marijuana.

The deputies, officers, and agents served a search warrant at 5:30 a.m. on Friday, August 15, at an apartment in the 200 block of Cleveland Street in Slidell. Once inside, Capt. Bonnett says the agents and deputies found the four suspects, Brown's two-year-old son, some 14 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $2,500, marijuana, and various pills.

Capt. Bonnett adds that the investigation began earlier this summer.
