Slidell Police arrested a man for attempted murder Monday. Trevon Miller, 25, of 384 Ben Thomas Road in Slidell, was arrested following a May 11 incident in which Miller allegedly shot his girlfriend's father in the leg. Miller was found in the Orleans Parish Jail, where he had been held under a different name. He was turned over to the Slidell Police Department on Aug. 11. Police are not sure how long Miller was in the Orleans Parish Jail or what the charges were. Because Miller insisted that his name was not Trevon Miller and that he signed all the booking papers with another name, he was booked with an additional injuring public records charge. Miller denies having anything to do with the shooting. |
