Slidell PD officer arrested on theft, malfeasance charges

(SLIDELL)--- At an afternoon news conference currently continuing at this hour, Slidell Police Chief Freddy Drennan has announced that a Slidell Police officer has been charged with theft and malfeasance.

Chief Drennan told reporters that Officer Jonathan Lutman has been arrested on those charges. Details remain sketchy at this point as the news conference is continuing.

Eyewitness News is at the news conference and will provide further updates as they occur.
