(METAIRIE)---Former Kenner police chief Nick Congemi has been named the new chief of the Causeway Police. The appointment came at a 10:30 a.m. news conference in Metairie. Congemi was the chief of police in Kenner from 1990 until 2006. He replaces former chief Felix Loicano, who recently resigned amid controversy surrounding a Causeway Police traffic stop involving Mandeville Mayor Eddie Price.
