(DENHAM SPRINGS)---For the 30th time in less than a year, deputies have raided a "meth lab" in Livingston Parish, leading to the arrest of two suspects, the recovery of processed methamphetamine, and the finding of a six-year-old child also in the house, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office. Dep. Rushing also says that 34-year-old Jennifer D. Lott, also of Denham Springs, has been charged with operation/creation of a methamphetamine lab, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of Alprazolam, possession of Diazepam, possession of drug paraphernalia, cruelty to a juvenile, and on previous warrants of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and speeding. The arrests occurred on the evening of Tuesday, July 22, as agents with the LPSO and Tri-Parish Task Force went to a residence in the 9300 block of Randall Drive in Denham Springs. Once inside, Dep. Rushing says that the agents located James and Lott, processed methamphetamine, several chemicals used in the preparation of meth, and a six-year-old child. |
