(DENHAM SPRINGS)---The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office reported that deputies are searching for a Denham Springs man in connection with a drive-by shooting incident that left a Denham Springs man wounded and a pair of brothers arrested in connection with the case. Livingston Parish Sheriff Willie Graves said that deputies are searching for 20-year-old Kevin Spain of Denham Springs on an attempted second-degree murder charge. He added that 21-year-old Carlos Davis and 19-year-old Anthony Davis, both of Denham Springs, were arrested and charged with attempted second degree murder. The shooting incident occurred shortly after 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, in the 25000 block of LA 16 in Denham Springs. Sheriff Graves said that the victim, a 28-year-old Denham Springs man, was apparently shot in the upper thigh after several bullets were fired into his mobile home from outside. A short while later, Sheriff Graves said that detectives took both Carlos and Anthony Davis into custody. He added that detectives are still searching for Spain. Sheriff Graves said that Spain is a black male, 5'10" tall, and weighs approximately 145 pounds. He added that if anyone knows the whereabouts of Spain, who is considered to be armed and dangerous, he or she should call the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office at 225.686.2241. |
