Northshore residents will have five chances to see an old favorite live and on-stage, courtesy the Hammond community theater. Back On Stage will be performing "Steel Magnolias" by Robert Harling, directed by Maya Levy, on Friday, May 23, Saturday, May 24, Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, at 8 p.m. There will be a Sunday matinee on May 25 at 3 p.m. All performances will be held at The Wesley Foundation, 307 West Dakota, on the Southeastern Louisiana University campus in Hammond.
Tickets are $15 and will go on sale on May 12 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at The Wesley Foundation. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, May 22, as no tickets will be sold at the door.
