St. Tammany appoints NASA engineer to Zoning/Planning Commission

(COVINGTON)---A 16-year veteran of system engineering at NASA's Stennis Space Center is the newest member of the St. Tammany Parish Commission on Zoning and Planning, according to parish President Kevin Davis.
Davis says that Karen Vander of Slidell, a captain in the U.S. Air Force Reserve as well as an engineer in the space program, will begin her duties immediately with both commissions.
Davis adds that the parish will benefit from Vander's skills and leadership in the comprehensive rezoning process underway in St. Tammany Parish.
