(SLIDELL)---Commuters driving near the intersection of Gause Blvd. and Front Street may face delays today, Thursday, May 29, as the railroad crossing there will be closed for repairs until completion, according to the Slidell Police Department.
Slidell Police Capt. Kevin Foltz reports that the plans are for one lane to be closed, leaving vehicles traveling in either direction to use the other lane on an alternating basis.
Slidell police advise those who wish to avoid the potential delays to take another route until repairs are finished.
