For the third time in a year, a Ponchatoula man has been arrested in connection with a methamphetamine manufacturing case.
34-year-old Vernon Lee Hill, Jr., of 41135 Dunson Road in Ponchatoula has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office officials report that numerous complaints were received concerning Hill. Deputies set up a surveillance of Hill's residence and they were able to take Hill into custody after a short foot pursuit.
Deputies were also able to recover numerous items allegedly used in the production of methamphetamine.
