(SLIDELL)---A Slidell man, who allegedly worked as a public adjuster without a license, has been ordered to "cease and desist" operations until a hearing can be convened, according to the Louisiana Department of Insurance.
Louisiana Insurance Commissioner Tom Donelon says that 48-year-old Stanley Clarke Pore allegedly entered into contracts to perform the services of a licensed public adjuster even though he was not licensed in the state. Donelon adds that Pore allegedly operated under the company name of Gulf Coast Regional Recovery, which the state maintains is also not licensed.
The hearing date has not been set.
