(SLIDELL)---Deputies with the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office have arrested a former Slidell Police officer after a lengthy investigation that also led to the arrest of his mother and ex-wife.
Capt. George Bonnett with the St. Tammany Sheriff's Office reports that 30-year-old Martin Krey, of 431 Eden Isles Blvd. in Slidell, has been charged with domestic abuse battery and child endangerment. His mother and ex-wife were also arrested by summons on a simple battery charge, apparently against each other.
Deputies indicate that the investigation began on Thursday, March 20, as they responded to a domestic violence call. Even though no arrests were made that day, the later investigation led to additional witness testimony that led to the eventual arrest of all three suspects, including then-Officer Krey.
Krey was arrested by deputies on Wednesday, May 14.
