(SLIDELL)---Slidell is ready for a groundbreaking ceremony for the city's new Municipal Complex Building I, set to be built adjacent to City Hall on the former campus of the UNO Slidell satellite facility, which was recently purchased by the city and has been demolished. The ceremony is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, at 2045 Second Street. City officials say Building Number 1 will be the first of two office spaces to be replacing offices destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. The design process for Building Number 2 is currently underway. |
