(SLIDELL)---Northshore High School, in an effort to help fund their new Athletic Tutoring Center, is holding a raffle, with the drawing to be held on Friday, May 15.

It's called the 1st Annual "Great Ride for Education Raffle". The Drawing Party for the winning tickets will be at 7 p.m. at the St. Luke Catholic Church Reception Hall.

Admission is $3 with a raffle ticket. The raffle tickets are $25. Organizers suggest getting a ticket early, as only 5,000 tickets are available.

At the drawing party, there will be food, music, collectibles, art, and sports memorabilia.

A 2009 Honda Civic, donated by Honda of Slidell, and a 2009 FX DC DYNA Harley-Davidson Super Glide Custom, donated by Mike Bruno's Northshore Harley-Davidson, will go to the winning ticket holders.
