Honeybee auditions set for Saturday morning

From the Hornets Public Relations staff:

The first round of Honeybee Auditions will take place Saturday at the New Orleans Arena. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

The first round is closed to the public. Those trying out will spend the day learning choreography and auditioning in front of judges.

Name change in the works for the Arena

Octagon will be working with the New Orleans Hornets to find a sponsor for the New Orleans Arena. While this does not mean that a name change has already been decided, it does show that Hornets officials are looking for a naming rights sponsor for the Arena.

It's a popular move among sports organizations to sell their naming rights for cash. Over half of the NBA stadiums have sold their naming rights.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The New Orleans Hornets return to Oklahoma City tonight and for the first time will be the visiting team.
