I know it's No. 1 in my heart. It's likely close to the top for many others.

CP3 hosting inaugural Big Easy Gala

We always get asked what Chris Paul is like and all that kind of stuff.

But is there really any question that he wants to do as much as he can for the city he lives in? And by my standards, that makes him an alright guy in my book.

CP3 is set to host the inaugural CP3 Big Easy Gala a week from today on July 2. Proceeds will go to the CP3 Foundation and all money will stay within the New Orleans community.

Hornets draft needs: Center or backup shooting guard (poll included)

We're winding down the pre-draft days and that means everyone and their grandmother are going to have suggestions on who the Hornets should pick with the 21st selection in Thursday's draft.

The latest craze is saying the Hornets need a backup big man (they do) but can't get a good one in the draft, leaving the selection open for a quality two guard (also true).

But here's the interesting bit: Hoopsworld.com thinks that Hornets draft needs: Center or backup shooting guard (poll included)

The Hornets are set to work out six more players today at the Alario Center in Westwego, La., and LSU's Marcus Thornton highlights the list of players.

The other player who stands out is Jeremy Pargo, the brother of former Hornet Jannero Pargo. Jeremy worked out for the Hornets prior to last year's draft. I'll be interested to see what has changed.
