| Hornets Buzz: CP3 to...Cavs? Bad offseason? Thornton almost not a Tiger. »
You've read Saints Linkage. Now get used to Hornets Buzz, an all-encompassing links aggregation report brought to you by the fine folks at WWL-TV.com. As always, if you see a link that we missed post it in the comment section and we'll do our best to get to it and approve it.
Emeka Okafor was signed to take the place of Tyson Chandler, who was always injured and yada yada yada. But lo and behold, Okafor injured himself on the first day of training camp. He's expected to miss a few weeks with a sprained second toe. Hornets news elsewhere around the web: Jimmy Smith of the T-P writes that Byron Scott isn't so impressed with replacement officials, who will be calling games until the NBA and officials come up with a work/contract agreement. Joshua Parrott at the Lafayette Advertiser says the focus is on Chris Paul, especially since he's all healthy now after not doing anything to wear him out this offseason. Parrott also writes that Peja Stojakovic is OK with coming off the bench this season, a story originally chronicled here at WWL-TV.com. Ken Trahan of neworleans.com fame has been at training camp in Lafayette and posts this report. And finally, the Hornets are hosting a day of service while partnering with the United Way. |
