We all know the story of the Hornets from last season.

After a push into the upper echelon of the NBA in 2007-08, the Hornets fell back to Earth in 08-09.

The players wanted something different, a bonding experience.

The answer - head to Lafayette for training camp. The franchise made the announcement on Wednesday.

It goes from Sept. 29 to Oct. 4.
