The Hornets have traded guard Rasual Butler to the Clippers in exchange for a conditional second-round pick.

Juan's Thoughts: I think it definitely was partially due to giving the Hornets some salary relief, but I also think they like how Julian Wright is playing and he will be given the opportunity to start. They also like their depth there with Marcus Thornton, who they picked up in the second round. I also think they feel that Peja's health may be better than first thought.
